Your Spin Cycle Prompt {week of 5/19}

May is the month of graduations! On Wednesday evening, I’ll witness 17 of my little students graduate from preschool. They are ready for Kindergarten! Photos of high school and college graduates are scattered across my Facebook news feed.

There are other ways to graduate. I’ve graduated from using a recipe every night to winging it. I have to admit, my Mexican Tortilla Casserole is different every time, but it always seems to be yummy! I also have a famous chicken and tomato dish that I throw together. Lily likes that meal.

Our prompt for this week’s Spin Cycle is graduate. Do you want to write about a traditional graduation or a non-traditional graduation? What have you graduated from lately?

Would you like our Spin Cycle prompts emailed to you? Sign up for our reminders or tell me in the comments! (Mad Mimi’s form hasn’t been working correctly.)

Write a Spin and link it up any day this week! (Grab the code in the text box under the button to add it to your Spin.)

  1. Emma technically graduates on Wednesday (even though we go another month to school here) after her end of the year show and she too is going on to Kindergarten. Not sure where the year went, but still here we are now. Excited for her, but also nervous and teary eyed, too. so many emotions still on this one for sure here.

  2. How how precious that the little students are graduating. My feed is full of HS and college graduations. It is crazy how fast the time goes by. I like your point about other ways to graduate. Truly we are often reaching milestones, even though we are way beyond traditional graduation.
